This article specifically describes Dutch laws and regulations
The Stichting Normering Arbeid (SNA) — the Foundation for Standards Compliance Labour — certifies companies in the temporary staffing sector with the SNA quality mark. If you use only SNA-certified companies, you reduce the risk of hirer's liability.
Since 1 July 2012, there has been a tax indemnity regarding hirer's liability. This means that if you hire workers through an SNA-certified company, you are not liable for unpaid payroll taxes and VAT from that company.

Purpose and operation of the integration
The integration with the SNA register means your assessors almost never need to manually check the quality mark. The system automatically uses the KvK (Dutch Chamber of Commerce) number to check whether the company in the chain has a valid SNA quality mark. If so, the assessor no longer needs to check personally whether the company is listed in the register.
Oribi WorkpassID requests the SNA certificate when both of the following conditions are met:
The engagement is set to 'hire' [TERM-CHECK: Dutch "uitleen" — confirm exact WorkpassID UI label] (rather than subcontractor)
No SNA certificate has been found for the engaged company
If a lender or temp agency is not listed in the SNA register, an additional assessment task is created: 'SNA certificate assessment'. In this assessment, the assessor can decide to:
Make an exception for this company in the chain by approving the assessment task
Make an exception for this company because the SNA certificate has not yet been included in the register but has already been issued
Reject the company because it does not have an SNA certificate
The configuration options
During onboarding of personnel, the company enters personal data. Which data is processed depends on the applicable laws and regulations and the organisation's settings.
The following setting is available for SNA: Setting: SNA check.
Information exchange between Oribi WorkpassID and the SNA register
Oribi WorkpassID retrieves all data from the official SNA register every week. The system compares the company's KvK number with the KvK numbers in the local register. No information is sent to the Stichting Normering Arbeid.
