Outstanding assessment
The organisation running the project (for example the main contractor) decides whether the company you work for is allowed to start work on the building site. It may be that an assessment is still outstanding for your employer. This usually happens when data is still missing from the system. As long as this assessment has not been completed, you and your colleagues cannot enter the building site.
In this case, it is important that your client contacts the assessors of the project. Only they can indicate which information is still missing and complete the assessment. This assessment can only be carried out by the assessor of the project.
Due to laws and regulations, the site supervisor and Oribi cannot help with this.
Always bring the correct identity document
Are you reporting to a building site for the first time? Then the site supervisor must check your details to verify that you are the right person. For this, it is important that you bring a valid identity document with you to the building site.
Valid identity documents are:
a passport
an identity card
a residence permit
A driving licence is not sufficient, because it does not contain any information about nationality or residence status. This information is mandatory when working on a building site.
After your first working day, a driving licence may be used for identification.
