You've downloaded the app, now what?
You already have a WorkpassID/Bouwpas card
If you already have a physical WorkpassID or Bouwpas card, take it out. Is there a QR code on your WorkpassID? Then you can activate your app right away.
Start the app and tap Activate with QR code.
Scan the QR code on your card and follow the verification step. We'll ask for it on your phone. After that you'll be logged in straight away.
There you go, you're ready to use the app!
You're standing next to the manager of your company's digital vault
The manager of the digital vault logs in and goes to the project where using the app is required. Under the Employed tab your name appears in the list of workers. They will activate you on the project if needed. To the left of your name there's a phone icon.
The manager clicks the icon and follows the instructions.
Start the Oribi WorkpassID app and tap Activate with QR code. Scan the QR code on the manager's screen and follow the verification step. We'll ask for it on your phone. After that you'll be logged in straight away.
There you go, you're ready to use the app!
You're self-employed and logged in to Oribi WorkpassID on your PC
As a self-employed worker, you manage your own details. Log in to your digital vault via your PC. Go to the project where the Oribi WorkpassID app is required. Click the STEP 2: PERSONAL DETAILS tab. Click the Bouwpas app button and follow the instructions.
The button is currently still labelled "Bouwpas app" — it will be renamed to WorkpassID soon.
Start the Oribi WorkpassID app and tap Activate with QR code. Scan the QR code on your card and follow the verification step. We'll ask for it on your phone. After that you'll be logged in straight away.
There you go, you're ready to use the app!
You have a Google account
Make sure your Google email address is listed in Oribi WorkpassID under your personal details! Tap the @Login button:
You'll land on the Oribi WorkpassID login screen. Tap Continue with Google.
If you're already logged in with Google you don't need to do anything. Otherwise follow the normal login process:
There you go, you're ready to use the app!
You have a Microsoft account
Make sure your Microsoft email address is listed in Oribi WorkpassID under your personal details! Tap the @Login button:
You'll land on the Oribi WorkpassID login screen. Tap Continue with Microsoft.
If you're already logged in with Microsoft you don't need to do anything. Otherwise follow the normal login process:
There you go, you're ready to use the app!
You want to receive a one-time login link
Don't have a Google or Microsoft account, but your email address is listed in Oribi WorkpassID? Then you can have a one-time login link sent to your inbox.
Tap the @Login button.
You'll land on the Oribi WorkpassID login screen. Tap Send onetime link.
Enter your email address and click the link you receive by email to log in.
There you go, you're ready to use the app!
You're already at the work location
First make sure you're registered at the location — that you've signed in and shown your ID.
The gatekeeper or supervisor can click WorkpassID App Activation next to your name. A QR code will appear on screen. Start the Oribi WorkpassID app and scan the QR code with your phone, then follow the steps!
There you go, you're ready to use the app!

You work for the organisation managing the project
Are you a supervisor, gatekeeper or inspector? Ask your organisation administrator if you can have an account and/or be added to a project. You'll receive an email from Oribi WorkpassID.
Tap the @Login button.
You'll land on the Oribi WorkpassID login screen. Tap Log in with username/password.
Then log in with the email address and password you created in Oribi WorkpassID.
