Uploading evidence and getting approval are two separate steps. Required items that are missing, pending, rejected or expired keep the assessment open in Oribi WorkpassID.
Applies to projects that use the Portuguese compliance rules in WorkpassID.
What keeps the assessment open
Under the Portuguese rules, required items that are missing, pending, rejected or expired keep the assessment open. The assessor must resolve them before the worker can continue, where the assessment blocks registration.
Check the open items and any rejection comments. Correct the evidence and add it to the right request. Optional documents do not normally block completion. If a requirement does not apply to you, ask the assessor to review it. Leaving it empty does not resolve it.
What the assessor can do
An assessor can approve an item, approve it provisionally with a deadline, reject it with an explanation, or mark it as not applicable. A worker can also be unavailable because the employer is blocked or archived, or because the chain-blocking settings of the project apply.
Can an approval expire?
Yes. An assessor can set a "valid until" date or a reassessment date. After that date, the approval no longer meets the requirement. This date is separate from the dates on the document itself. The Portuguese rules do not calculate renewal periods for each document. Check both the document dates and the approval dates. Do not rely only on reminder messages.
