For workers with a non-EEA nationality, Oribi WorkpassID requests three uploads. They also apply to self-employed workers.
Applies to projects that use the Portuguese compliance rules in WorkpassID.
For the legal background, see the FAQ: Third-country nationals on a Portuguese site
What is requested
For workers in the non-EEA nationality group of the product, under the chain liability subcontractor or Supplier role, the Portuguese rules request:
"PT titulo de residencia (AIMA)",
"PT autorizacao de trabalho",
"PT passaporte / documento de identidade".
This also applies to self-employed workers. WorkpassID does not ask workers of the project's own organisation for these uploads. It does not ask Portuguese and EEA-group workers for the passport or ID copy. In the product grouping, this includes Swiss nationals.
If your situation does not fit
Separate upload requests do not mean that every person must hold two separate permits. If one document covers more than one aspect, or the person follows a different lawful route, ask the assessor which evidence is appropriate. WorkpassID does not decide immigration eligibility.
Provide only the evidence that is relevant. Recording details and uploading a copy is not the same as authenticating a document or confirming the right to work.
