You can request this declaration from the Tax and Customs Administration. It shows that you have met your payment obligations to the Tax and Customs Administration. This gives security to the parties hiring you.

In Bouwpas, this concerns the 'Declaration of Payment Behaviour Sequential Liability (subcontractor)' or the 'Declaration of Payment Behaviour Hirer Liability (hirer)'. The 'Declaration of Payment History for Tax Compliance' is not relevant to Bouwpas.
