Did you receive a Bouwpas card at a construction site, and it has a square black and white QR code on it? Here we explain what that is for.
What does the QR code do?
The QR code contains a unique ID. A supervisor or safety expert can scan the QR code on your card to see information about you. For example, whether your VCA (Safety Certificate for Contractors - SCC) or GPI (General Site Safety Instruction) is still valid. To do this, they must be logged into Bouwpas.
Is it safe?
Yes, it is. The QR code only contains a unique ID. If you scan the QR code yourself, you will not see any personal data. Your personal details are safe in our system, and that system is well-protected. Read more about our security here.
