The main contractor has a legal obligation to record certain information on the identification document. De Bouwpas automatically takes over some of this data to prevent incorrect registration. In this article you can read which data this concerns.
A worker entering the construction site shows the ID to the porter. He checks whether the right person is in front of him and checks the document for authenticity. In addition, the porter checks a number of data that must be transferred.
Data being transferred
Workers:
- Nationality
- Type of document (passport, ID card or residence document, no driving license)
- Document number
- Expiration date
- BSN (if present on the document)
Self-employed:
No data will be transferred from the ID
How is the data transferred?
Some projects use Keesing AuthentiScan. This ID scanner automatically detects whether the identification document being scanned has been falsified or reported as stolen.
The Keesing ID scanner reads all kinds of information on the provided ID. Some of this data is automatically transferred to De Bouwpas to prevent incorrect registration.
If a project does not work with a Keesing ID scanner, this data will still be still copied, but manually. This is because the main contractor has a legal obligation to record this information.
