The list depends on the project role, the organisation type, the company country, the works type and whether the company supplies workers to others.
Applies to projects that use the Portuguese compliance rules in Oribi WorkpassID. Check these details before you collect documents.
Companies with employees
For a chain liability subcontractor, prepare:
Document | When it is requested |
|---|---|
Commercial register extract | Always |
Work-accident insurance | Always |
Portuguese tax and social security clearance certificates | Company country is Portugal |
Home-country tax and social security clearance certificates | Company country is outside Portugal |
IMPIC evidence for private or public works | According to the works type of the project, unless the company declares that it supplies workers |
Portuguese ETT licence or foreign agency authorisation | The company declares that it supplies workers. The company country decides which document |
ACT posting evidence | The company belongs to the foreign EEA group, which includes Switzerland in WorkpassID |
IRC registration confirmation | Optional, for foreign companies |
This list applies to the chain liability subcontractor role. Suppliers and the project's own organisation have no company document requests under the Portuguese rules. Their workers can still have requirements. See [Project roles on a Portuguese project].
Self-employed registrations use a different list. See [Registering as self-employed: documents and declarations].
Good to know
Uploading is only the first step. An assessor must also assess the required items. If a requested document does not match your situation, ask the assessor which evidence is appropriate. Do not upload an unrelated document instead.
