Assessments in Oribi WorkpassID are how an Organisation checks that the companies and workers on a project meet the requirements that apply to them. This article explains what an assessment consists of and how a participant's result is determined.
This article is about the assessments as used in Portuguese and Italian projects. It is not relevant for Dutch projects.
What is it?
Each requirement is assessed on its own: a document, a fill-in field or a certificate each carries its own status, validity date, and remarks. WorkpassID works out which requirements apply to a worker from the rules for the project's applicable law, and recalculates whether that worker complies every time the result is shown.
Why would you use it?
Assess each piece of data on its own, so approving one document never waits on another
See at a glance which party has to act next: the assessor or the subcontractor
Keep an audit trail per data item, showing who assessed what and when
Set a validity date per data item, so a document that lapses returns to the list on its own
Give the subcontractor a precise list of what to supply, instead of a single overall verdict
Components
Component | What it does |
|---|---|
Data item | One assessable thing about one worker: an uploaded document, a fill-in field or a certificate |
Worker | The worker or company being assessed, in the context of one project |
Status | The assessor's verdict on one data item: approved, conditionally approved, rejected, or not applicable |
Validity date | The date a verdict stops counting, set per data item |
Remarks | A public remark that reaches the subcontractor, or an internal remark that does not |
Data to assess | The assessor's worklist of everything waiting for a decision |
Assessment screen | The screen where an assessor works through a worker’s data items |
Pending actions | The subcontractor's own list of what they still have to supply |
Who uses this?
Assessor - records a verdict on each data item, and informs the subcontractor
Organisation management - open assessments read-only
Operations: Safe - opens the read-only summary from a worker or company status icon
Subcontractor - supplies documents and data, and follows up their pending actions
How a worker's result is determined
A worker complies when every required data item is approved and still valid, or has been marked not applicable. Anything else - not yet supplied, waiting for review, rejected, or expired - counts as open.
Optional data items never make a worker not in order. An optional document that has been uploaded is still reviewed
Where several documents are interchangeable, the screen shows them as a group under One of the following is required. Any approved document is enough for the whole group
A verdict counts only in the context it was given. The same worker can be in order on one project and still open on another
Expiry needs no action. A verdict with a passed validity date simply stops counting and the data item returns to the worklist
Prerequisites
The project must use the ComplianceEngine, and the applicable law must be set on the project. Assessors need the right group and project rights described in the how-to articles.
