With the Assessments in Oribi WorkpassID, you easily keep an overview of your administration and stay up to date at all times. This article explains how to use expiry dates in assessments to work efficiently.
This article applies only to projects with Dutch law settings.
Each step in the assessment has its own, optional expiry date, alongside the expiry date for the final verdict. Fill in the expiry dates or leave them empty. This way, you receive a reminder for the assessment at the right moment.
Example: when does an assessment expire?
If an assessment has one or more expiry dates filled in, the assessment expires on the first of these dates.
Example: on 22-04-2026, you carry out an assessment for company Goosens. You fill in the following expiry dates:
Expiry date KvK (Dutch Chamber of Commerce) extract: 01-07-2026
Expiry date statement of payment conduct: 01-05-2026
Expiry date final verdict: none
On 1 May, the status of the assessment changes to 'Expired' and it is offered for assessment again. The 'Expiry date statement of payment conduct' step gets an orange border and the expiry date is shown in red.
Are you carrying out the assessment again? Then remove the expired dates yourself. If you do not do this, the assessment is set to 'Expired' again the next day. The system sees 1 May as a date in the past and therefore sets the assessment to 'Expired'. Other configured expiry dates remain in place. On 1 July, the assessment expires again, because you filled in this date for 'Expiry date KvK extract'.

Frequently asked questions
Does this work the same for all assessments?
Yes, there is no difference between the types of assessments where expiry dates are concerned.
Do I always have to fill in an expiry date?
No, that is not necessary. If you do not fill in an expiry date and you approve the assessment, it does not come back. Only when a subcontractor uploads a file or changes an important field, such as the company name, does the assessment appear again.
How do I quickly see which step has an expiry date in the past?
The message "Expiry date in the past" appears at the bottom of the screen. Click on it to see straight away which step this applies to.
What happens to permanently rejected assessments and expiry dates?
An assessment that you have permanently rejected never comes back. Not even if you have filled in one or more expiry dates.
Do I also have to fill in the expiry date of one of the steps at the final verdict?
No, that is no longer necessary. The system looks at every expiry date that is filled in. So you do not have to enter a date twice at the final verdict.
