This setting determines whether a self-employed worker must provide their WA (third-party liability insurance) or AVB (general business liability insurance) cover. The self-employed worker then enters the policy number and expiry date in their company details.
Why use it?
Do you want to be sure that every self-employed worker is insured? Then leave the setting on Required. Do you request the insurance in another way, or is it not needed? Then choose None.
