This setting determines whether an ID check is mandatory when you register a worker, or whether you can skip it.
Why use it?
Set this setting to Yes if you want to offer the ID check, but do not want to block registration when a scan fails. Leave it set to No if every worker must have an approved ID check.
Applies to
Project level
You can find this setting in the project settings, on the Fair tab, under the Identity check heading.
The setting only works if an ID check is enabled for the project, through Oribi ExpertID or Mobile ID check.
Options
No (default setting)
When registering workers, an ID check is mandatory. The status of the check must be in order before you can complete the registration. Enrolling remotely is not possible: the identity document must first be checked on site.
This is the recommended setting.
➕ Every registered worker has a verified identity document
➖ If the check fails, you cannot register the worker
Yes
The option to carry out an ID check is available, but you do not have to complete it to finish registering the worker. Workers can then also enroll remotely.
➕ A failed or missing scan does not block registration
➖ There is no guarantee that every identity document has been checked
➖ The project scores lower on the Fair component
