This setting determines whether Oribi WorkpassID automatically deducts break time in the man-hours report.
Why would you use it?
If people do not check out during their break, the breaks count as time worked. This setting automatically deducts a fixed break, so the man-hours are more accurate.
Applies to
Project level
You can find this setting in the project settings, on the Access tab, under the heading Access settings.
If you choose Default setting, the project follows the default value. Next to Default setting you can see which value that is.
Options
No (default setting)
No break time is deducted. The man-hours report shows the time worked as derived from the card movements. Below the report, a note states that breaks have not been taken into account.
Yes
If someone has worked 4 hours or longer in a day, WorkpassID deducts a 30-minute break from that time. This happens once per day.
If someone works in several zones on one day, the deduction is applied per zone. Below the report, a note states that breaks have been taken into account.
➕ The man-hours are more realistic if people do not check out for their break
➖ If people do check out for their break, the break is deducted twice
This setting is separate from the breaks you set under Set working hours.
